Sweet Swing!

Friday after work we headed to the William's ranch for some fun with the Stones & Nashes. They have a pond out there and built a crazy looking swing that is SO much FUN!!! I think the adults wished the kids weren't there so we could hog it for ourselves!!! But most of the kids were brave and gave it a try :) We had such a great time...thanks Lindsay & Jeff for letting us come!

This boy is so funny when no one is looking! The other night when I let the water out of the bathtub, he was slipping around the tub on his belly. He said, "Oh ya, bay, bay! That's what ME talkin bout!"

About Mr. Connor

Regarding Mr. Connor and all his little girlfriends.... He's always telling me who he wants to marry: Katie, Brooklyn, Kaylee or Kenidee.... It keeps changing.

And so I am always telling him NOT to worry about that stuff right now. Don't think about girlfriends, kissing or marrying anybody for a LONG LONG time. Not until you are all grown up.

He says, "I know! I don't even want to think about any of those things. They just keep getting in my brain!"

Mt. Charleston

with the Nash's and Proffitt's. We had so much fun riding and hanging out at Mt. Charleston on Saturday. It's nice to get out of the city where it's a little bit cooler. The kids had a blast and got DIRTY!!! Ok we did too, but not like the kids.....

Melina Proffitt & her husband have known Melody & Jason for a long time and Melina and I went to SUU togther like 12 years ago. Yep, I said 12 years ago! Where did the time go?

The flowers from my previous post were picked by the kids and I LOVE them! Melody got a bouquet as well and I just couldn't stop laughing because the roots are so much bigger than the flowers.

While we were loading everything up in the morning, Melody and I look up and Connor & Faith are on their ROOF! Hello! They have a little balcony and it's pretty easy to get onto the roof from there. I told them they better watch out when they have teenagers!!!

What a great weekend.......

This pic sums up what a great weekend we had. I'll post more later when it's not midnight already.

Camping

We spent last weekend camping together at Mt. Charleston. I took the boys all by myself. I don't know if that's what you would call brave or..................dumb?! Whatever the case we had a great time and had so much fun together. But I'm not gonna lie, it was a ton of work! Have you ever put up a shade tent by yourself? Wait I had the help of a 5 yr old and a 3 yr old.....yep it was pretty much me doing it by myself!! :) The campers next to us came over when I was packing up the car to leave and they told me how they saw my boys helping so much and what great workers they are. I had to laugh... I said of course they help! I'm mean! And they're the only one's here to help! I kept making them hold poles or hammer stakes. Give a boy a hammer and they are in heaven. It's funny though because I felt like I spent all of Saturday setting everything up and then all of Sunday taking it down!!!

We played catch, did puzzles, played games, cooked on the fire, roasted marshmallows, and drank hot chocolate. I think Wyatt lived off of Cheetos all weekend. No foil dinner for him!

Connor took us on two hikes and he loved it. While hiking, we met another family and there was a single mom with two kids... I think she was LDS and it was fun to talk to her. The people we camped next to gave me their number so we could all go camping together again. :) I love how lucky I am to alway bump into cool people. I love that and I don't think it's an accident.

To my mom: Sorry for giving you a heart attack by going camping alone. We are home safe and had a great time! No worries!



We were bursting at the seams and we used everything we brought. Can't believe it takes so much stuff to go camping!

I love how I wanted the shade to be over the table, but by the time I was done, it was like half over the table and sagging on one side!!!! I'm only one person people! Whatever works.



My camera battery died and I think it's because Connor took so many pictures of "scenery" and of himself. I had 10 pics of his head like the one above!!! ha ha!

These are the days....

So many cute and funny pictures of the boys and things that they have been up to. Most are just everyday life...but sometimes those are the most entertaining and memorable.

Just chillen with the helmet on again. He's been wearing it for days now. Inside, outside, with a sweaty face, watching TV....whatever. We still have one of Alex's (sorry by the way!) and he makes the helmets kiss eachother! ha ha!

Wyatt has been wearing this Yoda hat at night time. In fact he is wearing it again right now sleeping as I type this. I'm telling you...that kid is hilarious but most people don't know it because he is shy. Can't relate to the shy thing :)

"Cutting" Ben's hair and putting play-dough over his eyes. I think they watched Emily do a few hair cuts that day. And Connor cut some of his own hair that day too...not with those fake scissors either.

Oh and here's one of me with Christina and Kristen when Christina visited from Idaho. Girls night out...you know that's trouble.

More Fun

We had so much fun with the Nashes, Howards, Kim & Miss Tajia the other night! We rode 4 wheelers & the rhino, got dirty, had fifty little kids running around, made smores and scared people with the rubber snake I brought along. How can you possibly have a better time???

Ryan's HOME!!!

It was so dang fun to see Ryan today and have him back! The kids were all lovin them some Uncle Ryan... A guy who served with Ryan came to Vegas to see him, but I think he was super sad when Connor couldn't play anymore and had to go home tonight :)

FHE - That's what I'm talkin bout!

We had so much fun last night taking the 4 wheelers and stuff out with the Nash family, and Alex and Kimberly. We went out to Apex Monday night and tore it up. Connor learned how to ride his 4-wheeler by himself...it was so funny! There was a big open area that was perfect to learn on. I just let him do it himself, but I had a shut off button I could hold in my hand. When he got too crazy, I could just shut it off. He was pretty slow and timid at first, but as he got more confident he was doing donuts and peeling out. It was so funny! He's pretty cocky now. Jason tried to scare me on the sweet Rhino that they have...but it didn't work. And Melody let me wear her SWEET helmet! We ended the night eating smores...with lots of little kids loving to get dirty and staying up late. So much fun...we need to do it again soon. Amber & Brian... you bums! You bettter come next time!!!
