Boys & High Heels...........

Why do little boys like to wear high heels so much? Almost as much as Sadie! (I miss that cutie) The boys were crackin me up walking around in these. I can't wait to show their friends these pictures when they are teenagers. ha ha

Whew hew!!!!!!!! Pre-school Graduation Watch OUT!

Ok so I'm going to wait on the kindergarten thing for Connor until next year. But who cares, pre-school graduation was still fun. All of the kids took turns saying what they want to be when they grow up. The boys are so funny.......they want to be Spiderman and stuff like that. So funny. Connor says he wants to be a motorcycle rider when he grows up. A few more kids had their turn and then he says, "Hey, hey....I want to change mine! I want to be a motorcycle rider AND a dad." I know, So CUTE. Everyone went "ahhhhh." He's still a turkey though.

Check out that dirty, nasty mud puddle...

We had a great time at the lake today. We didn't end up going on my dad's boat, but it was still fun. Water and mud....what else is there to love for two little boys?

P. S. I wouldn't have made a very good pioneer. It was awful getting back to our car, carrying all of the "stuff" for three people and trying to help Wyatt over all of the rocks. I loaded Connor down, and then I would carry the rest of our stuff for a while and then go back a little ways and carry Wyatt up to where I dropped our stuff. It took forever! Emily helped us to get our stuff out there in the first place, but getting back without her help sucked! The boys had so much fun though, so it was worth it.

eat, eat!

Mr. Wyatt and his food cracks us all up. He says, "eat, eat!" The noodle picture is from last night (and I wish I could include the sound effects he was making!) This morning I made chocolate chip pancakes....yum!!!! It was a first for me. Whip cream on top is awesome! Anyway, we were done eating and I was cleaning up the kitchen and the plate of left-over pancakes was on the counter. Wyatt moved a stool over so he could reach them and kept chowing down. I took a ton of pictures because he was hammin' it up.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was surprisingly a great day! I had low expectations, maybe that's the key. Connor did the cutest bike trick for me for my present and the whole day was..... easy. An easy day when kids go with the flow and nothing stressful is going on....ahhhh. It was a good day.

P.S. I have to give a shout out to my mom & sister who helped make it a great day with great food and good times together. Love you.

Race for the Cure

Ran the Race for the Cure 5k on Saturday! I conned my friends Paola Obragon & Mandy Leavitt into doing it with me. We had such a great time! Live music & popsicles while you run...sweet! Next year I'm bringing the kids.

You know, some stuff I just won't miss. I am crazy busy and I don't see my boys nearly enough, but there are some things they do that I just refuse to miss. I remember I had a final exam scheduled for Halloween night and I told my teacher, "no way, I can't come that night. I will take the test before, after, whenever you want, but I'm taking my kids trick or treating." My job is pretty cool cause I was able to run over to take Connor to school on his first day of preschool. Last night Connor did such a great job singing at the primary talent show. He practiced a lot and wasn't scared. It was 3 seconds long and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. : ) Sunday, after I came and watched him do his part for sharing time Connor said, "mom, you watched me? Are you going to come watch me at the talent show? You're always there for me aren't you. I'm always there for you too." I hope my boys know how much I love them even though I'm away from them a lot lately.

I promise I'm not trying to convince anyone that I'm not such a bad mom or rationalize anything. It's just some thoughts I want to remember for later. Plus, maybe my kids will see this someday.

OK, the insurance stuff is taken care of. My school registration is taken care of. I'm getting a referral for Wyatt to see ENT doctor. AND I scheduled my cracked windshield to be replaced. And other stuff is done too. Sweet. Check, Check CHECK!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I am not caught up and organized. Just a few of things taken care of and it feels SO good! I even cleaned out my car the day I stayed home from work.

Here are a few pictures from the field trip to the Museum of Natural History - which is awesome by the way!
