What the heck?

I was holding Wyatt this morning and didn't even notice his feet. I got him situated on my bed watching cartoons and then saw that his feet were huge! On one foot he had 4 socks on and on the other foot he had 5 socks on! When I asked him about it he said he was Spiderman. Not too sure how that relates...

Wyatt wore this on his belt loop the whole day before and when I got him up that morning...he had it attached to his pull up. Love it.

I just discovered this thanks to Kristen. So easy! Wyatt gets the giggles when I get it out because he is so excited to eat waffles.

This car made me think of the LVHS parking lot for some reason ...from my day. Especially if it had glitter in the paint. Or was lime green and and had a tiny chain-looking steering wheel. Does anyone even remember that stuff besides me?

I love Connor's "ready" position as pitcher. He caught a fly ball recently at one of his games. I'm sure it was an accident :)

Mother's Day 2008

Mother's Day is always special because I love being a mom and I have so much gratitude for my mom and Robin. I have received so much service at their finger tips...

Thank you Mom for your example of giving of yourself time and time again with nothing expected in return. You are one of the most selfless people I know and I love you. Your actions over the years speak much louder than any of the lessons you ever gave. I love you.

However....the day always comes and goes quietly each year with the same feeling in my heart. I'm stealing this from a friend of mine ( I hope you don't mind!) because it captures exactly how I feel about my two sweet boys I have in my care.

I love those two fuzzy headed, wild, little boys. I love how Connor takes care of me & Wyatt. I love how he sings to me. I love how Wyatt talks in different silly voices and makes faces at himself in the mirror. I love how we all snuggle in my bed and watch movies together. I love the dandelions they pick for me to put in my hair and how they always tell me I look pretty. I love how Wyatt tells me, "you best"

I hope they know I love them. I hope they know I'm trying my best.

The Weekend

I took my fire pit/bowl to my friend's house Saturday night and we made Smores with her kids and mine. She has four kids and with all of them together....it's a total party.

Wyatt is bored with paper I think...he's reached that stage...It's all throughout the house. Even on my car door where you put in the key.
