Moms are awesome but NOT cool

I dressed pretty nice today, because it's Tuesday and on Tuesdays they have management meeting and everyone's in the office. Around 2 oclock I finally noticed I had a Scooby Doo bandaid stuck to my behind.

As "cool" as I thought I was strutting around the office in my high heels....I know without a doubt....I am NOT COOL. I might even think I am cool for a few min in a row here and there, but Connor & Wyatt are quick to remind me that I AM NOT COOL. And I'm ok with that.

On the way to school this morning, I had Connor's lunch up in the front seat. As he was getting out of the car he said "My lunch!" Worried that he had forgotten it.

I handed it to him and he said, "Mom, you always got my back!"

Wyatt

We were on our way somewhere and Wyatt had to go to the bathroom...bad. He had to sit on the pot forever and the whole time Connor was waiting out in the car. When we got in the car, Connor said, "what took you guys so long??"

Wyatt said, "I had to go number 5."

I guess number 5 is serious business.

February Randomness

For Valentine's Day this year, Connor wanted to make his own cards and not buy the store bought kind that are so convienent for a busy momma. I have to admit it though...I love that about him and I hope he is always this creative. It was a busy week because my dad & I were doing house projects, so we compromised and bought some things to make "homemade" cards. My favorite one he made says "ElizaDETH" I love it!

For my Connor boy...

I love how you do whatever I need, whenever I need it...usually :)

You help me so much and act so much older than the little 6 year old that you are. You help pack the car, even the trunk, you help Wyatt get dressed in the morning & in PJ's at night, you help me take out the garbage and you help me fold clothes. Is there anything you don't do??? Thanks so much for being the big helper and good sport that you are...usually!
